Dave Heistein, CPA Managing Partner
Dave Heistein is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. He is a San Diego CPA, as well as an advanced QuickBooks Pro-Advisor and Instructor. He has over 18 years of experience in finance, tax, and operational management.
Dave has worked in various accounting and technology, consulting and management roles for Philip Morris, USWeb, Inspired Arts, and many others, and is now a San Diego based CPA. In 1999, he founded and ran a successful internet and business consulting company called IP Strategy.
Dave holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara with concentrations in Accounting and Computer Science.
Dave Mowery, CPA CPA Manager
Dave Mowery is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Colorado and Ohio. Based in Parker, CO, he has over 25 years of experience in tax and accounting.
Dave has worked in many different capacities including several years as the CFO for a group of construction companies and for both national and local CPA firms. On the tax side he has in depth experience in a wide variety of industries with particular experience in real estate, construction, and professional services.
Dave graduated from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Jackie Budish, CPA CPA Manager
Jackie is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Professional Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She has over 10 years of experience with a significant amount of experience in QuickBooks, bookkeeping, financial statements, tax planning, tax returns, and overall business consulting.

Dana Kandler Accounting & Payroll Manager
Dana is one of our accounting, bookkeeping and QuickBooks rock stars. She brings a passion for excellence in customer service and a razor-like focus on accuracy and detail.
Dana has a wealth of experience and expertise. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a QuickBooks Specialist Certification and certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor status.
In addition to her academic credentials, Dana brings expertise in a number of industries including manufacturing, restaurant, disaster restoration and public accounting. As someone who has also owned her own business, she has a good understanding and unique insights into the accounting and bookkeeping needs of the small businesses.

Dana Anderson Accounting Manager
Dana Anderson is a Certified QuickBooks Online Pro-advisor and has 20+ years of Bookkeeping and Management experience. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and majored in Accounting. Roll Tide!
Dana has worked across multiple industries, including e-commerce, construction, restaurants, and manufacturing, to name a few. Dana is a numbers person and enjoys working with clients. Accuracy and detail are her strong points.
Dana lives on the beautiful Mississippi Coast and in her spare time enjoys everything the Secret Coast has to offer.
Deanna Kahler Senior Staff Accountant
Deanna is a QuickBooks Pro-advisor and serves the important role at Profitwise as Staff Accountant and go-to-person to many of our clients.
Deanna is one of the few individuals fortunate enough to have been born and raised in America’s Finest City, San Diego. When not helping clients and the Profitwise team, she enjoys the many activities that living in San Diego has to offer.
Deanna brings stellar academic credentials to the Profitwise team. She has a both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Diana Davis Staff Accountant
Diana was born and raised in the great state of Louisiana. Her passion for numbers and helping business owners led her to Louisiana State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Diana is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor and serves as a Staff accountant here on the Profitwise team. When she’s not crunching numbers, you can find her traveling to a new destination or serving her community.

Lisa Davis Staff Accountant
Lisa is best known for friendly and cheerful personality. Lisa’s experience includes seven years with a start-up architectural firm where her responsibilities included setting up QuickBooks, managing payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as project management and budgeting; just to name a few.
In her “spare” time Lisa volunteers at her kid’s schools, makes sure her 5 daughters get to all of their activities on time and loves to read.
Lisa received her BA in Communication from San Diego State University.

Jessica Justice Staff Accountant
Jessica is one of our youngest stars and brings certifications in accounting, bookkeeping and Quickbooks to Profitwise. Jessica has a BA in History from Campbell University and customer service experience in multiple industries including hospitality, business, and food/beverage. She has 1 cat and 1 dog and in her spare time she loves to annoy her pets.

Anne Franks Client Success Manager
Anne is often the first point of contact for current and prospective clients – overseeing client onboarding, coordinating the flow of information between clients and our various departments, and supporting our team.
Anne has over 15 years in project management for design & events. Anne also brings 5 years of office management experience with an association management firm where she oversaw internal systems and their member communications.
Anne received a Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Merchandising & Design and a Minor in English from the University of Rhode Island.
New to California, Anne loves exploring the beautiful left coast with her husband and 2 year old daughter. She loves our epic sunsets but admits she misses the oysters from the cold New England waters.

Tabby Kibler Client Support Superstar
Tabby moved to CA a little over 5 years ago from the Pacific Northwest with her then-fiance and pup Orion. She graduated with AA in Paralegal Studies from San Diego Miramar College but found dealing with the red-tape of the courts to be trying, so she transitioned to the easy-breezy world of Accounting! She likes open spaces so most weekends you’ll find her hiking in the warm San Diego weather with husband and dog, Orien.

Prior to joining the team, Seeta successfully applied her relationship skills in a variety of roles including counseling, marketing and business development. She is a native San Diegan who is committed to helping individuals, businesses and communities grow and prosper.

Marjorie Stine Marketing Manager
Marjorie brings over 20 years of marketing experience working with established companies as well as start-ups in the medical device, diagnostics, and professional services field. Her expertise includes business and marketing plan development for new products and services, marketing research and online marketing.
Marjorie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from CSU, Sacramento and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University.
